Editorial & Campaign Makeup Artistry
Bringing your creative vision to life with makeup that pops on camera. Whether it's high-fashion editorial or a commercial brand campaign, I create looks that are as sharp, detailed, and flawless as the clothes.
A sun-kissed and dreamy look for a fashion shoot. I created a sharp half-eyeliner and glowing skin, complemented by a playful yellow hair bow for a fresh, editorial feel.
A direct shot of the sunkissed editorial look. The makeup is minimal yet impactful, focusing on a flawless complexion and a precise cat-eye to make the eyes pop.
The profile view shows off the clean lines of the winged eyeliner and the beautiful, natural-looking skin texture. This is a perfect example of modern, chic makeup for a fashion feature.
A close-up from the "Ravishing Ruby" campaign for the Alaya Collection. The makeup features a classic winged liner and soft contouring to enhance the model's features without overpowering the intricate red lehenga.
Another shot from the Odelia brand shoot. The sharp winged eyeliner adds a touch of modern drama to this traditional red lehenga, making it perfect for a contemporary bride.
This pose highlights the diamond and emerald jewelry, so I kept the makeup elegant with a defined eye and a neutral lip to balance the look for this campaign.
A side profile from the Alaya Collection shoot. The soft waves of the hair and the glowing makeup create a romantic and glamorous feel, perfect for bridal advertising.
About this collection
Shooting under harsh studio lights or direct sunlight changes how makeup reads on camera. I use industrial-strength setting sprays and silicone-based foundations from brands like NARS and Armani to ensure the skin looks real and texture-free without causing flashback. You get a kit that is designed to stay fresh for 8-hour days, so we focus on capturing the perfect shot instead of fixing makeup between every take.
My Process for Brand Campaigns
Editorial work is about more than just looking pretty; it is about translating a mood board into reality. When I work with fashion labels like Odelia or Alaya, I study the texture of the fabric, the jewelry, and the intended vibe. If it is a "Sunlit Reef" concept, we go for a bronze, glowing finish; if it is a sharper editorial look, we might play with graphic liners or faux freckles to add character.
Technical Details for Shoots
My kit is curated for the camera. We are balancing light, which requires specific techniques:
- HD Readiness: I use silicone and water-based foundations that hold up under 4K lenses without creating flashback.
- Body Work: I do not stop at the face. I contour and highlight collarbones, shoulders, and legs to ensure the skin tone is even across the frame.
- On-Set Reliability: I stay on standby for the full 8-hour shift. This includes shine control, lipstick touch-ups, and managing flyaways during dynamic movement.
Why Brands Book Me
I have worked backstage at Lakme Fashion Week and with designers like Pawan Sachdeva. I understand the set hustle. Lighting changes, schedules shift, and models get tired. My job is to ensure the makeup survives the day while enhancing the creative direction of your campaign. If you have a specific concept in mind, let’s discuss the look during a pre-shoot consultation.
