Authentic Street and Pride Portraits
Street photography is about catching life as it happens. Whether it is the energy of a Pride parade or a quiet, real moment on the street, I focus on the raw, unfiltered emotions.
A joyful, over the shoulder smile captured during a Pride event. This candid street portrait is all about capturing authentic happiness and confidence.
A warm, direct smile from a participant at a Pride celebration. The soft, natural light and relaxed expression make for a beautiful and genuine portrait.
A close up portrait that captures a bright, happy expression. These are the moments of pure, uninhibited joy I look for when shooting cultural events.
A candid moment of laughter and bliss. This photo captures the feeling of freedom and self expression that fills the air at a Pride parade.
About Street & Pride Portraits
Street portraits shouldn't feel like a stiff fashion shoot. I don’t ask you to hold awkward poses or force a smile that doesn't reach your eyes. I move with you, catching the way you actually laugh or look when you're caught in a real moment. It's just me, my camera, and whatever raw energy you bring to the frame.
Photography is often treated like a performance, but that’s not how I work. When we meet for a street or Pride portrait session, my goal is to get the version of you that doesn't usually show up in front of a lens.
Whether we are walking through the busy streets of Delhi, capturing the vibrant colors at a Pride parade, or just finding a quiet corner in a park, the approach remains the same. I don't bring heavy lighting gear that ruins the vibe. I prefer using natural, ambient light and staying mobile so I can document the raw emotion rather than staging it.
My street portraits are about the 'main character' energy you carry. You’ll notice in my work that I often shoot from eye-level or slightly from below, which makes the subjects feel grounded and real. If you’re a bit camera-shy, that’s actually perfect. Some of my favorite frames come from people who forgot I was even there.
We can plan a route around your favorite part of the city, or just pick a spot that means something to you. I keep the editing true-to-life as well, focusing on color correction that maintains the warmth of the day without making you look airbrushed. If you want a shoot that feels like a reflection of your actual life—messy, beautiful, and completely honest—then let’s talk.
