My Studio: The Heart of My Art
Welcome to my happy place. This is where I find my calm, organize my thoughts, and bring nature-inspired art to life. Take a peek into my creative process.
This is my corner of the world, my peaceful sanctuary. After a much-needed break, I reorganized my studio to give myself a fresh start. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to pause, reset, and begin again.
Sometimes an art block requires a complete reset. This video shows me clearing my gallery wall and starting fresh. Organizing my space is a form of therapy for me, and it always helps me find my creative spark again.
Slow mornings with fresh flowers are my favorite. Here I am, arranging new blooms for inspiration with my little cat helper. Getting yourself flowers is an act of self-love that I highly recommend.
I always have the cutest audience when I'm painting. My cat loves to watch me work, and his calm presence is a wonderful addition to my studio atmosphere.
My process often starts outside. Here I am, gathering fresh flowers from a park to use as inspiration. I love arranging them on a blank canvas to imagine the composition before I even start painting.
Many of you have asked how I hang my canvases. This quick video shows a simple trick I use to get my paintings up on the wall, helping me build the gallery wall that I'm so proud of.
A wider view of my desk, filled with fresh roses and sunflowers, my paints, and my finished artworks on the wall. This is the environment of color and nature that fuels my creativity.
Romanticizing the beautiful spring light in my studio. The sun streaming in and lighting up the flowers and my art wall just makes me so happy and ready to create.
A quick tour of my happy place. Every corner is filled with art, supplies, and plants. This is what it looks like when falling in love is a place.
A shot of my desk right before I start a new piece. A fresh canvas on the easel, a plant for company, and my brushes ready to go.
About My Studio: The Heart of My Art
When you commission a piece, I don't just paint a subject, I build a mood. My process is tactile—from gathering fresh flowers for inspiration to arranging a clean workspace to help me focus. Whether it is a bookmark or a textured canvas, I prioritize materials like professional-grade gouache and heavy 300 GSM paper to ensure your art feels as good as it looks.
My studio is more than just a workspace. It is my sanctuary. When I paint, I am not just creating a visual image, I am capturing a feeling. Whether it is the specific way sunlight hits a vase or the delicate structure of an orchid, I aim to translate that quiet, nature-inspired calm into something you can hold.
My Process & Materials
I believe the quality of the materials changes the final outcome. I use professional-grade gouache for that signature matte, velvety finish, and 100% cotton 300 GSM paper for my botanical illustrations to ensure longevity. For my textured acrylic pieces, I use heavy-body paints on rigid panels, which means they are ready to display on a desk or wall without needing glass framing.
Commissioning Your Art
Every piece starts with a conversation. If you have a memory, a specific flower, or just a vibe in mind, I work closely with you to bring it to life. I am based in Bangalore but I ship my work across India and the NCR region. Whether you are looking for a unique bookmark for a friend or a large canvas to brighten up your own reading nook, I am here to help.
