My process for conceptual murals goes beyond just picking colors. I start with a mood board to understand your story—whether it’s nature, urban hustle, or social commentary—and map it onto your specific wall dimensions. We will align on a digital mockup before I touch a spray can, ensuring the scale and detail fit your space perfectly.
For conceptual pieces, I move away from standard lettering to focus on storytelling. Whether it is figurative work, portraits, or symbolic imagery that critiques our digital obsessions, I treat the wall as a canvas for social and artistic dialogue. My technique is hybrid; I use exterior-grade emulsion for the base work to ensure longevity and weather resistance, then layer on professional aerosol sprays—like Molotow and Montana—for the detailed highlights, gradients, and sharp character lines.
Every project starts with a conversation about your space. If you have a massive wall that needs a landmark or a corner that needs a focal point, I build a custom concept that fits. I provide digital mockups superimposed on photos of your wall so you know exactly how the scale and color palette will sit before the first drop of paint. For large installations, I handle the artistic execution, though I do ask that you arrange for scaffolding or lift access for any height over 10 feet. It is about creating something permanent that breathes character into your environment.
