About Bridal & Shaadi Hairstyles

Many stylists struggle with curls opening up or losing volume during long wedding ceremonies. In my sessions, I show you exactly how to use steel clips for a secure hold and teach you the specific twisting and pulling techniques that ensure your bridal styles stay in place from the start of the function to the end.

Creating a bridal hairstyle is not just about making it look pretty for a quick photo. A wedding look needs to survive long hours, dancing, and changing outfits. This is where technical training makes the difference. I focus heavily on base creation—if your foundation is weak, the style will sag. We practice back-combing angles, from 30 to 90 degrees, to ensure that vital lift and volume.

Whether you are creating a classic South Indian bun with heavy jewelry or a modern, messy mermaid braid for a Sangeet, the technique remains the same: clean sectioning and precise hair distribution. We often use extensions to add that necessary density for high-bun variations or intricate braiding.

At my academy in Paschim Vihar, we do not just watch videos. You get your hands on mannequin heads from day one. I teach you how to manage heat settings on your tongs—22mm versus 25mm—because the wrong temperature can damage hair or fail to hold a curl. We also cover accessory placement, specifically how to pin fresh flowers and heavy jewelry so they feel secure without adding uncomfortable weight for the bride.
