The best cake smash photos are the messy ones. Iāll handle the props, the custom background, and the cleanup in my DLF Phase 5 studio so you can just focus on encouraging your little one to dig in and have fun.
Every first birthday milestone is unique, and I love creating custom themes that reflect your babyās personality. Whether you have a specific idea like a 'One in a Melon' theme or your child is currently obsessed with Cocomelon, we will work together to bring it to life.
What happens in a session
My studio is fully equipped for these milestone shoots. I provide all the necessary props, including vintage crates, flowers, and the iconic āONEā letters for the perfect backdrop. You do not need to worry about the setup or the mess, as that is all part of the service. My role is to guide your child to interact with the cake while capturing those genuine, tiny expressions of surprise, joy, and curiosity.
Preparation tips
- Timing: Schedule your session when your baby is typically well-rested and happy, usually after their morning nap.
- Outfits: Keep it simple and comfortable. A nice romper or a themed outfit works best, and I am happy to chat about color coordination before you come in.
- Siblings: I always encourage big brothers or sisters to join in for a few shots. The interaction between siblings during these messy moments often creates the most precious photos.
