Artistic Newborn Portrait Photography Sessions
Capturing the magic of your baby's first days, prioritizing their comfort and safety above all else.
Wondering how to capture a newborn smile? It takes patience, a calm environment, and knowing the baby's cues. Here's a peek at how we get that magical shot.
A heartwarming story of recreating a newborn photo for a younger brother, seven years later. It's a privilege to capture these full-circle moments for a family.
"Will my baby be comfortable?" is a question I get a lot. This video shows how we prepare our props to ensure your newborn is cozy, safe, and sleepy throughout the session.
An unpopular opinion: awake newborn photos can be beautiful too! Those wide, curious eyes tell a story all their own.

A sweet sleeping newborn wrapped in pink, part of a luxury session. The collage includes a family portrait, showing how we can combine different shots.
This awake newborn looks so peaceful in a vintage-style pram during her sunflower-themed shoot. I always follow the baby's lead, whether they are asleep or awake.
"Hello World!" This little one is perfectly swaddled in a yellow wrap, announcing her arrival in style. The wooden sign adds a lovely personal touch.

A dreamy newborn portrait with the baby sleeping on a miniature bed, surrounded by teddy bears and soft pink decor. Every detail is carefully planned.
About Your Newborn's First Portraits
I run my sessions by the clock of your baby, not the wall. If your little one needs a feed, a cuddle, or just a quiet minute, we pause. I have worked with over 1800 newborns, and the one thing I know is that you cannot rush a baby, so we simply do not try.
A Safe, Baby-Led Environment
Your baby is the boss, and my studio at Cuffe Parade is built entirely around that. We maintain a constant, warm temperature of 27°C to ensure your newborn stays cozy while they are being swaddled or posed. For every newborn session, I work with two trained safety assistants whose only job is to watch over the baby and keep them comfortable while I focus on the photography.
Why Professional Newborn Photography Matters
Those first few weeks are a whirlwind of emotions. My role is to pause time for you. Whether you prefer the classic, artfully posed newborn look or a more relaxed lifestyle session where I come to your home, I use hypoallergenic wraps and sanitized props to make sure everything is clean and gentle.
The Details That Last
I love capturing the small, fleeting details that you will miss once they start growing—the tiny eyelashes, the way their fingers curl, and those little yawns. We keep setups minimal and use soft, neutral colors so the focus stays entirely on your baby. If you are worried about your baby being awake, don't be. Some of my favorite shots are of babies looking directly into the lens with wide, curious eyes.
What To Expect
- Safety First: The studio is sanitized and temperature-controlled for newborns.
- Patience: We block out 3–4 hours so you never feel rushed to feed or soothe.
- Everything Included: From wraps to props, you do not need to bring a thing.
My goal is to give you photos that feel like your family, not a stock image gallery. If you have questions about which package fits your needs or how to prepare your older children for a sibling shoot, let’s chat.
