10 Years of Mint & Peach: The Story Behind the Lens
Over 1800 babies and a decade of stories later, here is a look at the journey behind Mint & Peach and the families I have had the joy of photographing.
The two notifications I love to see: a new booking and a payment confirmation. It means another family is trusting me with their memories. June is almost full!
Did we just become best friends? If you're obsessed with babies, love minimal and emotional photos, and believe in capturing feelings, then we're a perfect match.
We had an amazing time! Hearing feedback like this from my clients makes all the hard work worth it. My goal is always an effortless, comfortable, and fun experience.
We must be doing something right! So honored to receive an award from Kidsstoppress. Thank you for this recognition, it means the world.
Eight things I've learned in eight years of Mint and Peach. It's been a journey of patience, connection, and gratitude. Thank you for letting me be part of your story.
About My Journey & Client Love
Leaving a career in accounting to document baby smiles was the biggest risk of my life, but looking at the 1800+ little humans I have photographed since, I know I made the right choice. When you scroll through these photos, you are not just looking at a portfolio; you are seeing the trust of families who let me into their homes to capture the loud, messy, and beautiful reality of new parenthood. Every testimonial here exists because a parent decided to pause time with me, and that is a privilege I never take for granted.
From CA to Camera
Ten years ago, my life looked very different. I was working as a Chartered Accountant, but the numbers never gave me the same rush as capturing a genuine, unposed giggle. Making the switch to professional photography in Mumbai was a leap of faith, but it led me here—to a career where my only metric for success is the happy tear or the loud laugh from a parent seeing their photos for the first time.
My Philosophy: Why 'Real' Wins
My studio in Cuffe Parade is not just about props or lighting. I believe the best memories are the ones that are lived, not staged. If a baby needs a nap, we sleep. If a sibling is being chaotic, we document that chaos. I do not believe in forcing smiles or sticking to rigid, uncomfortable poses. My goal is to capture your family’s vibe—the quiet cuddles and that specific feeling of Tu hain toh hain isme zindagi (You are the life in this).
Why Trust Matters
Being recognized by platforms like Kidsstoppress is a great honor, but the real reward is the feedback I get after a session. Hearing a mom say the experience felt effortless, or a dad mention that the shots are better than their original references, is what keeps me going. Whether you are looking for a maternity shoot or your baby’s first portraits, you are not just booking a session; you are booking an experience where your comfort and your baby’s safety are the only things that matter. I am here to help you hold onto these memories, so you remember exactly what it felt like to be a new parent.
