Handmade Crochet Dolls and Workshop
I am Mamta. At 61, I found my joy in crocheting. Every toy here is 100% handmade by me, plastic-free, and safe for your little ones. Let's make something special together! ❤️
I started my handmade toys business at 60. It is never too late to follow your dreams.
This is me, making a doll from start to finish. I feel so proud when a new doll is ready.
My exhibition with my happy customers. It gives me so much joy to see people love my work.
My first exhibition at Ashoka University. I was so happy and blessed to show all my crochet items.
Crocheting from the hills. I take my yarn and hooks with me wherever I go. Here I am making a headband in Shimla.
Shopping for new projects. I get so excited buying all these colorful yarns for my next creations.
So many colors to choose from. I am picking out the perfect shades for my new doll orders.
Leaving the yarn shop with a big bag of new colors. I cannot wait to start crocheting.
Showing off some of my latest creations in the park. I made a doctor doll, and two other cute dolls.
It takes 8 to 10 hours of hard work for each doll. I am happy to put in the effort.
About My Little Workshop
Every single doll you see here takes me about 8 to 10 hours to create by hand. I don't use machines or pre-made plastic bases. I work with soft, high-quality cotton yarn and non-toxic filling, ensuring everything is washable and completely safe for babies to cuddle. It is slow work, but it is real work.
People often ask me why handmade dolls take time. It is because I put my heart into every loop. Whether I am sitting in the hills or in my living room, my crochet hook is always with me.
My process is simple:
- Material: I use 100% cotton yarn that is soft on baby skin.
- Filling: Only hygienic, non-toxic polyfill stuffing. No plastic bits to worry about.
- Care: All my creations are fully hand-washable, so they stay fresh even after lots of playtime.
I do not believe in one size fits all. If you want a specific character, a doll that looks like your child, or a professional figure like a doctor or soldier, I can make it happen. I pay attention to the small details—tiny bags, removable dresses, and even hair textures. Since I work directly with you, there is no corporate process. You talk to me, you share your idea, and I start stitching. It is that simple. If you are looking for a gift that holds memories rather than just plastic, you have come to the right place.
