Why I Crochet

Crochet is my happy place. I’m Mamta, and I make every piece by hand at home, usually while chatting with my grandkids or watching old movies. My accessories are all bilkul plastic-free - I use cotton and velvet yarn, plus wooden buttons. You’ll find each stitch has a bit of my pyaar (love) mixed in. Not everything comes out perfect every time, but I believe that’s what makes handmade things special.

What I Make

You’ll spot cute handmade crochet keychains in all sorts of designs - animals like bears and bees, flowers, and even the nazar (evil eye) for some extra protection.
For girls, I make cotton yarn hair bands and clips. Lots of bows, flowers, and little bunnies find their way into my basket.
My siling bags and eco-friendly crochet purses are simple, strong, and easy to wash. I make mobile pouches, wallets, and mini bags for kids with fun animal faces.
I love making small velvet yarn bookmarks for book lovers, and sometimes a crochet parrot or other car hangings.
For babies, I’ve got soft shoes and caps that are gentle on tiny heads and feet.

My Story

Namaste, I'm Mamta. Crochet found me late, at 61, but now it's my jaan (life). My three grandkids - they’re my chhota (little) critics, always testing my toys! I love making things with my hands, knowing they’re safe, no plastic, just pyaar (love). Even if I’m in the hills, you’ll spot me with my crochet. Seeing kids smile at my creations - bas, that’s my reward.
