Ambient & Decor Lighting for Events
Your venue needs a soul, not just furniture. From fairy light canopies to full-venue washes, I turn standard spaces into immersive experiences. Let’s get the lighting right.
This is how you create a sky full of stars indoors. A dense canopy of fairy lights provides a magical, romantic glow that transforms the entire dining experience.
For this large outdoor Sangeet, I created a ceiling of hanging greenery intertwined with fairy lights, complemented by elegant chandeliers. This setup defines the space and adds a touch of natural elegance.
A club-style ceiling with hanging LED panels. These can be programmed to change color and intensity, allowing me to shift the mood from a relaxed dinner to a high-energy party with the flick of a switch.
Sometimes, the simplest things are the most beautiful. Draping a large tree with cascading fairy lights creates a stunning natural centerpiece and a magical photo spot for an outdoor event.
For this outdoor reception, I used a combination of string lights and scattered disco balls on the lawn. The lights create a warm, inviting glow, while the disco balls add a playful touch of sparkle.
A vibrant and warm backdrop for a Mehendi ceremony. I used curtains in traditional colors and layered them with cascading fairy lights to create a festive and cozy seating area.
This outdoor dinner setup is all about ambiance. I used hanging light bulbs at different heights to create a warm, intimate, and rustic atmosphere for guests.
About this collection
Most venues rely on one flat light setting, which drains the energy out of the room. I layer my setups to fix this. I mix warm, low-hanging fairy lights for intimacy during dinner with dynamic, program-controlled washes for when the party picks up. It keeps the space feeling alive from the first toast to the last dance.
Lighting is the difference between a party that looks flat on camera and one that feels expensive. I don't just dump lights in a room. I map out the venue, looking for the architecture and decor elements that need to pop.
My Approach to Ambiance
- Layered Lighting: I use high-density fairy light canopies to create a 'starry night' effect for outdoor dinners, paired with warm uplighting on trees or drapes to create depth.
- Technical Control: I use DMX controllers for every setup. This isn't just about turning things on. It allows me to program distinct 'scenes.' We can transition from soft, elegant pastels for the ceremony to high-energy, club-style saturation the moment the DJ takes over.
- Event-Specific Gear: For me, lighting is tech. I use COB blinders for face illumination during speeches so you look great in photos, not washed out. I bring professional haze machines if we need to make light beams visible, which is a game-changer for Sangeet nights or stage entrances.
Why it Matters
If you have a massive garden, simple string lights get lost. You need structural installations. I design entrance tunnels and hanging spheres that define the space. It forces the crowd to move through the venue exactly the way you want them to. Whether you are going for a rustic, intimate vibe with Edison bulbs or a high-tech neon aesthetic, the gear is secondary to the setup. Tell me your venue, and I will tell you how we make it look insane.
MENA Rentals
I am Sanket, and I get a kick out of turning dark corners into photo-worthy zones. I do not just dump lights in a room. I map out the venue to highlight the architecture and set the mood, whether it is a small garden party or a grand Sangeet.
