About Bold Gulf & Arabic Florals
When I create these Gulf and Arabic styles, I focus on flow and negative space rather than filling every inch of your hand. I use bold, dark floral motifs that let the skin breathe, creating a 3D effect that looks modern. It is not just about drawing lines, it is about how the design sits on your hand and how it looks in your photographs.
For me, the difference is in the details. A true Gulf design should not look cluttered. I use specific shading techniques to make the flowers pop against the natural tone of your skin. This style is perfect for engagement ceremonies, siders, or anyone who wants a sophisticated look that is not a traditional heavy bridal design.
I make my own henna paste using natural ingredients and essential oils. This is a rule I do not break. You get a deep, dark brown stain that lasts, not the patchy, pale orange colour you get from mass-produced chemical cones. Whether you want a simple bail that runs along the side of your hand or a full-palm design with intricate leaves and vines, I apply the same level of care.
