Curious how I create my designs? I love sharing my process, from the first touch of organic henna to the focus behind every Mandala and cutwork design I create.

This video shows the satisfying process of "cutwork" filling, where I carefully trace and fill in a delicate floral pattern on a wristband.

The best part is seeing a design come to life. Here, I'm creating a lotus and mandala design on the wrist, building the pattern line by line.

A relaxing video of me creating a mandala with a "cutwork" technique. I love the precision and focus it takes to get these clean, delicate lines just right.

About My Process in Action

People often ask how I get my lines so fine. The secret isn't just practice, it's the nozzle—I use a specific 0.38mm tip for that clean finish. When I'm working, I don't rush the process; I focus on the flow of the organic paste to make sure the stain will be deep and consistent, whether it is a simple mandala or complex bridal work.

How I Work

Mehendi is a practice of patience. When I sit down to apply henna, whether for a quick festive touch or a long bridal session, my goal is always the same: a deep, safe stain and a design that feels personal. You will notice in my videos that I am quite particular about the 'cutwork' technique. This involves carefully tracing lines to create negative space, which makes the floral motifs really pop against the skin.

The Organic Difference

I only use pure, organic henna paste. It is mixed with essential oils like lavender or eucalyptus, and I never use chemical cones. This is why I am so obsessed with the application process—fresh, organic henna requires a steady hand and a bit of time to settle into the right consistency. It is safer for your skin, and the color development, Alhamdulillah, is always richer and darker.

My Approach to Design

I do not believe in rushing. Whether I am drawing a classic mandala or intricate bharwa patterns, I take my time to get the shading and geometry just right. If I feel a line is slightly off, I adjust it until it feels right. This is why I love sharing these clips; it shows that behind every beautiful design is a lot of focus, a bit of trial and error, and a lot of heart.
