About The Beautiful Result: Rich Henna Stains & Happy Brides
The secret to that deep, dark colour isn't just luck. I use 100% organic, homemade henna paste mixed with essential oils, and finish every session with a lemon-sugar sealant. It takes a little patience to let it dry properly, but the result is a vibrant, lasting stain that truly pops against your wedding jewellery.
How to get the best stain
Getting that deep maroon shade is a team effort. My paste is chemical-free and made from scratch, which is safer and gentler on your skin. To get the best results:
- Keep it on longer: Try to keep the henna on for at least 6 to 8 hours. The longer it stays, the deeper the stain.
- Stay warm: Henna reacts well to heat. If you are getting married in a cooler month, keeping your hands warm after application really helps deepen the colour.
- Avoid water: Stay away from water for the first 12 to 24 hours after washing off the henna. Water halts the oxidation process that makes the stain dark.
