Getting a portrait mehendi is more than just applying henna paste. Before we start, I always do a quick pre-consultation to map out your story. We decide exactly which milestones—a proposal, a family portrait, or a 'Laadli' tribute to your parents—we want to feature, so the final design is a storyboard that truly belongs to you.
My signature storytelling style goes beyond traditional motifs like peacocks or lotus flowers. For this package, I focus on realistic figures and 3D shading to bring your memories to life. Whether it is a portrait of your parents, a scene from your proposal, or a dedicated 'Dulha-Dulhan' moment, I sketch these onto your skin to make your mehendi a family heirloom.
The Portrait Mehendi Process
- Pre-Consultation: We spend time finalizing the elements. You tell me the story you want to depict, and I create a visual layout.
- Extended Coverage: Because of the detail involved, this work covers well above the elbows and extends to the mid-calf. This gives me the space needed to include 2 to 4 realistic figures with intricate facial expressions.
- Custom Elements: Beyond portraits, I weave in your wedding hashtags, inside jokes, or symbols like your pet or favorite city skylines.
