Featured Mehendi Art and Design Showcase
A personal collection of my favorite mehendi designs, from intricate bridal peacocks to delicate Pichwai lotuses, along with a look at my henna teaching process.
This Pichwai-inspired peacock design is one of my absolute favorites to create. I love how the fine lines and floral fillers come together to frame the two peacocks, with a lotus cuff at the wrist. This is the kind of detailed, story-telling art I can create for you.
Here is the beautiful, deep stain of a finished mandala design. I use my own natural henna paste to ensure a rich, dark color. Notice the central lotus, the bold scalloped outline, and the delicate floral patterns filling each finger.
In my classes, we practice on sheets like this to perfect our motifs. Here, I am demonstrating how to draw lotuses and elephants in the Pichwai style, focusing on steady linework and composition before we even touch the skin.
A look at an intricate bridal foot design. I love creating patterns that flow from the ankle down to the toes, using a mix of traditional fillers, floral bands, and a central fish motif for good luck.
The secret to perfect henna is a perfect cone. I teach all my students how to roll their own cones from scratch, giving you complete control over the flow and fineness of your lines. It is a game-changing skill.
This design was pure joy to create, filled with so many elements. We included roses, lotuses, a swan, and even a tiny elephant, all woven together with delicate netting and traditional fillers for a full and festive look.
About Featured
What sets my work apart is the focus on fine-line details—like the specific Pichwai-inspired lotuses and swans I love to draw—paired with organic henna paste I mix myself. Whether you are looking for a bridal design that tells a story or want to learn the art of rolling your own leak-proof cones, my approach is hands-on and tailored to your specific taste.
My Approach to Henna
For me, mehendi is not just a service; it is therapy. Every design, whether a simple mandala for a festival like Teej or a full-arm bridal composition, is crafted with organic henna that I mix myself to ensure that deep, rich stain everyone loves. I specialize in bringing traditional elements into modern layouts. My signature style often incorporates Pichwai art motifs—blooming lotuses, swans, and cows—which add a unique, artistic touch you won't find in standard catalogues.
Teaching the Art of Henna
I believe art should be shared. In my classes across Mumbai, I move beyond just copying designs. We start with the fundamentals: mastering pressure control, learning how to mix a stringy, smooth paste, and rolling your own leak-proof cones. From beginner foundation courses to advanced figure and shading workshops, my goal is to help you find your own flow. We practice on laminated sheets, perfect our linework, and discuss the technical side of balancing thick and thin strokes for professional results.
Booking & Collaboration
I am currently open for bridal and festive bookings. If you are a bride, I suggest we chat early to plan your design flow, especially if you want specific figures or symbols woven into your pattern. For classes, we keep sessions intensive and hands-on to ensure you walk away with real skills, not just theory.
