Festival Mehendi Designs for Teej & Karwa Chauth
Festivals are my absolute favorite time to work! Whether it is the intricate patterns for Teej or the deep, rich stain for Karwa Chauth, I love creating designs that celebrate the spirit of the occasion. Let’s make your festive hands stand out this year. 🫶🏻✨
A graceful design for the Teej festival, featuring two birds within ornate jharokha windows. This symbolizes love and freedom, perfect for celebrating this beautiful tradition.
A classic Teej mehendi with all the royal elements! This design includes majestic elephants, graceful peacocks, and architectural domes, creating a rich and festive look.
A beautiful design for Karwa Chauth. This intricate pattern features elephants, hanging bells, and floral details, perfect for celebrating the festival with traditional elegance.
About Festival Specials (Teej, Karwa Chauth & More)
During festivals, the rush is real, but I never compromise on the details. I always use my signature natural henna mix, which takes a bit of time to set, but it guarantees that deep, rich maroon stain everyone wants for the big day. You should plan your sitting time for these intricate pieces, especially if we are adding elements like jharokhas or traditional figures.
When you book me for festivals like Teej, Karwa Chauth, or even Ganesh Chaturthi, you aren't just getting a design, you are getting a festive storyteller. I love blending traditional motifs—like elephants, peacocks, and architectural jharokhas—with modern, clean lines. For Karwa Chauth, my clients often ask for moon symbols or specific traditional elements that add that extra touch of auspiciousness to their celebration.
My process uses triple-sifted, natural henna mixed with essential oils. I focus on creating a dark, long-lasting maroon stain that my clients love. Since festival designs can be quite intricate, they typically take about 45 to 60 minutes for a wrist-length piece, and up to 3 hours for fuller, elbow-length patterns.
If you have a specific vision or a classic motif you love, just let me know before we start. Whether it’s a packed, 'paisa vasool' design or something more spaced out, we’ll ensure your hands look stunning for the camera and for the rituals.
