If you love deep, detailed, and classic henna patterns, you are in the right place. I specialise in full-coverage traditional mehendi that focuses on rich motifs and a dark, beautiful stain.

A full coverage design that feels so luxurious. I love filling the hands with a mix of bold bands, delicate lotuses, and classic peacock motifs for a truly traditional mehendi vibe.

This design is all about royal architecture, featuring jharokha windows, majestic elephants, and delicate lotus details. It's a perfect example of a full-coverage, story-rich mehendi.

This is for the client who says, "aaj toh paisa vasool karna hai!" A super intricate and heavy traditional design packed with geometric checks, floral bands, and detailed finger work.

A closer look at a beautifully detailed design. You can see the combination of floral bands and delicate patterns on the fingers, perfect for any celebration.

Handcrafted happiness in every swirl. This video shows a full-coverage design with a mix of floral, paisley, and geometric patterns that come together for a stunning result.

About Intricate Traditional Mehendi

These traditional designs are all about density—I pack every inch of space with geometric checks, classic paisleys, and lotus motifs to give you that heavy, royal look. Because these intricate patterns require 45 to 60 minutes for a full wrist-length pair, I recommend booking in advance to ensure we have enough time to get that perfect, dark maroon stain you are looking for.

Why Traditional Mehendi Takes Time

When you go for an intricate design, it is not just about the henna paste; it is about the patience required for high-density coverage. Unlike minimal patterns, my traditional work involves heavy Jaali (net) grids, peacock motifs, and detailed finger work that leaves very little negative space. This is exactly what my clients mean when they say 'paisa vasool'—every swirl and curve is intentional, drawn by hand to ensure a rich, consistent finish.

What Goes Into Your Design

Whether you choose elbow-length coverage or a traditional wrist-length style, I focus on balanced composition. I mix architectural elements like jharokhas with classic Indian floral bands to create a look that feels timeless. To achieve that deep maroon stain, I use my own 100% natural henna mix with eucalyptus oil, followed by a lemon-sugar sealant spray. It is a process, but the results speak for themselves.

Planning Your Session

Since these designs are time-intensive, let us chat about your schedule before the big day. For a pair of hands (front and back), plan for about an hour of sitting time for wrist-length designs, or up to 3.5 hours for more elaborate elbow-length themes. If you are in Mumbai or travelling from outside, let me know the occasion so I can plan my travel and supplies to give you the best henna experience possible.
