A look at my collection of handmade magnetic bookmarks, featuring funny and relatable designs for readers. This video shows meme-inspired characters like the "I have no shelf control" stack of books and various cute cats.
This video gives you a glimpse of the variety of bookmarks I offer at my stall. You can spot hand-painted designs for Harry Potter fans, alongside my other clay and resin creations.
About this collection
I paint these on 300 GSM cold-press watercolor paper, so they don’t bend or smudge like the flimsy cardstock ones. If you are tired of bookmarks slipping out of your bag, my magnetic fold-over style is a total game-changer—it snaps onto your page and actually stays put.
For me, reading is all about escaping, and a generic, mass-produced bookmark just does not do the experience justice. That is why I started painting these. Whether you are obsessed with Naruto, Harry Potter, or just need a grumpy meme cat to stare at you while you read, I have something that matches your specific vibe.
Everything here is 100% hand-painted—no prints, no factory machines. I use artist-grade gouache and watercolors, and I seal each piece with a matte fixative spray. This means your bookmark is resistant to smudging, even if it catches a little humidity or a stray drop of coffee.
I offer two main formats:
- Standard Strips: Classic designs, usually paired with a tassel.
- Magnetic Fold-overs: These are my personal favorite. They are about 1.5 x 2.5 inches and snap shut over the page. They are incredibly sturdy and perfect for travel.
Because I create these in small batches, the collection is always changing based on what I am currently watching or reading. Have a weird request? I love those. If you want a custom illustration of a specific character, a pet, or a favorite book quote, just reach out. We can chat about the design, and I will make it yours.
