- Techniques Used: Includes pinning faux-pearls onto fruit skins, rolling currency notes into fans or peacocks, and radial stacking of turmeric or betel leaves.
Rental Hardware
- Tray Type: Includes rental of German Silver style or Gold-coated metal trays.
- Specs: Standard 12 to 14 inch diameter in Round, Octagonal, or Oval shapes.
Decor Materials
- Embellishments: Plastic gold motifs, artificial fabric flowers, lace borders, and satin ribbons included in the price.
- Props: Basic miniature plastic dolls included for turmeric or kumkum plates.
Important Exclusion
- Contents: You must supply all fresh produce (fruits, nuts), cash notes, and turmeric sticks. This price covers labor and decor materials only.

Making a family function stand out is something I take seriously. Ceremonial Plate Arrangements, or as we call it, Seer Thattu, are close to my heart. If you’ve ever watched your mom or akka fuss over these plates, you know how big a deal it is to get them just right.
What I Do Differently
- Every item gets its own spotlight. Coconuts wrapped in chic jute, each fruit decorated with beads, chocolates and bangles styled to look like they belong in a magazine.
- Want modern gift plate styling? You’ll see no old-fashioned, heavy designs here. I go for fresh, elegant looks, but don’t worry, nothing strays from tradition.
- I use German Silver plates and other pretty trays, adding pearl beads, lucky motifs, and flowers to make everything pop.
- Aarathi plate? I give it the same love as the others - handmade aarathi plate decor, always done with care.
