A selection of my work—bold, polished, and ready for the spotlight. These shots define my approach to celebrity portraiture and high-end fashion editorials.

This cover shoot for Fashion Herald with actress Soniya Bansal captures the essence of modern allure. We focused on creating a glamorous, high-fashion look that is both bold and sophisticated, perfect for a magazine's leading feature.

A candid moment with Bollywood actress Mouni Roy. For actor portfolios, I aim to capture genuine personality, creating relaxed yet professional images that stand out in a casting call.

A classic black and white portrait of actor Pearl V Puri. This type of intense, expressive headshot is essential for an actor's portfolio, highlighting their screen presence without distraction.

This dramatic outdoor editorial was shot at dusk by the sea. I use natural elements and dynamic lighting to create evocative, story-driven fashion images that feel like a scene from a film.

A creative beauty shot for Praze Magazine featuring a vintage-inspired hair and makeup look. These close-up portraits are designed to showcase the artistry of the entire creative team, from makeup to styling.

A full-body glamour shot showcasing a metallic gold dress and high-fashion posing. My studio sessions are about creating polished, powerful images that highlight both the model and the apparel.

An edgy portrait of Bollywood choreographer and director Firoz A. Khan. I work with artists to create portraits that reflect their professional brand, using props and lighting to build a specific character.

A soft and intimate beauty shot, using a delicate veil to frame the face. This style of portraiture is perfect for capturing a sense of grace and elegance in beauty or bridal portfolios.

About Featured

Every image you see here is a full-team production. I don't just show up with a camera; I bring stylists, makeup artists, and retouchers because the final polish is non-negotiable. Whether it’s a magazine cover or a portfolio, we spend hours on lighting and wardrobe details so you don't have to worry about looking camera-ready—you just have to be yourself.

Behind the Lens: My Process

Photography is not just about pressing a button. It is about how the lighting hits a jawline or the exact moment a model captures a specific mood. When we shoot, it is a production. I rely on my team of stylists and makeup artists to get the details right, so the final image looks like it belongs on a magazine spread.

Why the Crew Matters

Some photographers try to do it all, but I believe in specialization. My retouchers work on color grading and skin texture retention to ensure the output is print-ready. My stylists handle the wardrobe sourcing, whether we are going for avant-garde, casual, or high-glamour. This infrastructure is what allows me to consistently produce commercial-grade results.

Where We Shoot

I am based in Mumbai, and my work takes me from the Andheri and Goregaon studio belts to outdoor locations across the city. If you are looking for a studio vibe, we utilize professional 3-point lighting setups to get that sharp, polished look. If you prefer the outdoors, we use the natural light of the city to create a more cinematic feel.

My Philosophy

I treat every project as a professional commitment. I only accept paid assignments because I invest significant time and effort into pre-production and post-production. If you want a portfolio that stands out in a casting call or an editorial spread that demands attention, I am ready to work. Let’s create something that shows the world exactly who you are.

I’m Maya. I spend my days in Mumbai, chasing the right light and working with actors, models, and artists to create images that stick. When I’m not behind the lens, I’m with my dog or grounding myself—but on set, it’s all about the craft and the click.
