About Maternity: Elegant Studio Setups
When you book a studio session, you are not just getting a photographer; you are getting a complete setup designed for your comfort. We spend 3 to 4 hours in my Karni Vihar studio, giving us enough time to transition through three different outfits—from grand, flowing gowns to simple, intimate looks—without feeling rushed. I manage the background styling, lighting, and posing direction, so you can focus entirely on your partner and the joy of the phase you are in.
The Studio Experience
My Jaipur studio is designed to be a sanctuary for parents-to-be. Unlike outdoor shoots that can be impacted by harsh sun or unpredictable weather, the studio offers consistent, soft, professional lighting. Whether you prefer the rustic warmth of a boho setup with pampas grass and wicker chairs or the clean, sophisticated look of a classic, backlit window backdrop, I have everything prepped and ready before you arrive.
What to Expect
A session typically lasts 3 to 4 hours. This timeframe is intentional. It allows us to move through three distinct looks—perhaps a dramatic, regal gown for a formal portrait, followed by a more casual outfit for intimate couple shots. You do not need to worry about being camera-shy. I guide you through every movement to ensure we capture the most flattering angles that highlight both your bump and the connection with your partner.
Practical Details
The ideal time for a maternity shoot is between 26 and 32 weeks. By this point, your bump is prominent and well-defined, but you are usually still comfortable enough to move around easily.
Deliverables
At the end of our session, you will receive:
- 25-30 high-end, professionally retouched images (including skin smoothing and background cleanup).
- 100-150 raw JPEG files for your archive.
- A short 15-30 second reel, perfect for sharing the news of your little one’s arrival with family and friends.
