Kedarnath Temple Themed Decor and Divine Shringar in Mumbai
We recreate the divine atmosphere of the Kedarnath dham through traditional floral shringar and temple-style fabrication. Bring sanctity and peace to your home or event.
A close-up of the Shiva Lingam shringar. We carefully adorned the deity with sacred bilva leaves, a traditional tripundra, and a garland of fresh flowers, treating the process as a form of seva or devotional service.
The details are what make a decoration sacred. Here you can see the shimmering Om symbol, a rudraksha mala, and fresh bilva leaves placed as offerings on the Shiva Lingam.
The archway for the shrine was constructed entirely from strings of bright yellow marigolds, a flower symbolic of the sun and divine blessings in Hindu traditions.
An offering of a coconut and flowers sits at the base of the decorated Shiva Lingam, completing the devotional setup against a backdrop of marigold garlands and a celestial blue cloth.
About Kedarnath Temple Replication
Beyond the marigold backdrop, the core of this setup is the careful arrangement of the Shiva Lingam. We source fresh bilva leaves and specific jasmine varieties daily to ensure the deity shringar remains vibrant, treating each petal placement as an act of seva rather than just design.
Bringing Divine Spaces to Life
We approach temple replication with the understanding that this is not just decoration. It is an offering. When we build a Kedarnath-inspired setup, we focus on balancing structural fabrication with organic floral work to create a space that feels calm and purposeful.
Our Process
- Fabrication: We use painted styrofoam and plywood to create the structural temple replica. These are designed to be sturdy for home or hall settings, covering the main shrine area with realistic height and depth.
- Floral Shringar: The yellow marigold garlands are chosen for their brightness and tradition. We mix these with fresh jasmine and lotus stems for the deity. Every floral element is fresh, and we manage the logistics so the setup stays looking its best throughout the duration of your ceremony.
- Lighting: We keep the illumination focused. By using warm LED PAR lights and fairy lights, we mimic the soft, flickering light of a temple at dawn, enhancing the natural textures of the flowers and brass elements.
