About Ceremonial & Shagun Essentials
Unlike mass-produced sets, my Haldi platters and shagun envelopes are functional, reusable heirlooms. For instance, my fabric envelopes are crafted with premium gota patti and silk borders, allowing them to be repurposed as stylish evening purses or jewellery organizers long after the wedding ceremony concludes.
Every ceremony has its own energy, and my work is about capturing that through thoughtful details. Whether it is a traditional Haldi platter or a modern engagement ring box, I focus on blending old-school Indian charm with contemporary aesthetics.
My approach to shagun presentation goes beyond standard aesthetics. I work with materials like velvet, raw silk, and acrylic to ensure that every envelope and platter feels substantial and special. For my Ginni boxes, I focus on delicate floral and leaf motifs, creating a compact, elegant package that honors the tradition of gifting gold or silver coins as a symbol of prosperity.
When it comes to ritual platters, I prioritize structural beauty. I incorporate elements like brass bowls, artificial marigolds, and custom LED lighting to ensure they look as good in photographs as they do on the mandap. I understand that these items are often the first thing guests see when they enter a venue or a home, so I pay close attention to the finishing—securing ribbons, ensuring the gota patti is flush, and verifying that the colors coordinate perfectly with your event's theme.
If you have a specific vision or a color palette in mind for your Roka or Engagement, I am happy to customize the arrangements. My goal is to add that 'chaar chaand' (extra sparkle) to your celebrations, ensuring your ceremonial essentials are as memorable as the rituals themselves.
