About Major Events: Festivals & Celebrations
For large-scale events like Holi festivals or New Year parties, I move beyond standard club setups. I coordinate professional line array sound systems and truss lighting rigs, which are crucial for maintaining audio clarity and impact in open-air venues where sound dissipation is a common challenge.
When you are hosting a major celebration, the margin for error is slim. You need audio that doesn't crack under volume and lighting that actually adds to the atmosphere rather than just flashing randomly.
My approach to festival sets is rooted in technical preparation. For crowds over 300 people, I use a dedicated line array system and digital mixers. This ensures the bass hits just as hard at the back of the venue as it does in the front row. It is about consistent energy, not just volume.
I handle events across Bangalore, from rooftop venues like Fox in the Field to large open grounds for Holi festivals like the Rangluru Carnival. For these gigs, I don't just show up and play. I work with the organizers to understand the venue layout, the specific vibe of the crowd, and any special cues needed for entry or countdowns.
