About Modern & Botanical Murals
When I paint these tropical scenes, I pay close attention to the architecture of your room, not just the flat surface. I love figuring out how to blend fuse boxes or utility doors into the foliage, making them disappear into the design. It is all about creating that misty forest feel, where the wall becomes an extension of the space, not just a backdrop.
My Tropical Process
Most of my tropical and botanical projects fall under my Illustrative and Tropical category (500 to 750 per sq. ft.). This is not just about throwing paint on a wall. We start with a conversation about the vibe you want—do you prefer a dense, dark jungle feel or a lighter, airy botanical look?
Once we settle on the direction, I create 2 to 3 digital drafts so you can see exactly how the layout will work with your furniture and lighting. I use a combination of sponges and rollers to get those soft, misty background textures that give the mural depth, then go in with brushes for the crisp details on the leaves and birds.
Why Botanical Art?
Nature has a way of calming a room. I have painted everything from large-scale restaurant walls to small, cozy bedroom corners. Whether it is a single Monstera leaf or a full canopy of tropical trees, the goal is to make the room feel alive. I can work on rough textures or even ceilings if you want a complete forest immersion.
