About Elegant Bridal Portraits
I don't believe in forced poses. We focus on the small details first, like the weight of your jewelry or the way your lehenga falls, to help you get comfortable in front of the lens. By the time we start the actual portraits, you are not thinking about the camera, and that is when we get those raw, genuine expressions.
A bridal portrait session is more than just looking at a camera and smiling. It is about capturing who you are in that exact moment. Whether we are shooting in a hotel room while you get ready or finding the perfect light at a venue like Mallu Farms, my goal is to keep the energy relaxed so you do not feel stiff.
Why the 'Getting Ready' Phase Matters
Many of my favorite shots happen before the wedding ceremony even begins. When you are sitting for hair and makeup, there is a mix of anticipation and excitement. I try to blend in like family during this time, so you can just be yourself. We document the details—the intricate embroidery of your lehenga, the shine of your nath, and the quiet moments with your bridesmaids. These images often end up being the ones you cherish the most.
My Approach to Bridal Portraits
My style is cinematic and earthy. I avoid over-processing photos, preferring natural skin tones and lighting that highlights your features without making you look like someone else. If you are worried about the camera, do not be. I will guide you with simple prompts rather than strict directions, allowing you to move naturally. My approach is to ensure you look back at these portraits in years to come and remember exactly how happy you felt that day.
