About Festive Mithai Candles: The Soan Papdi Alternative

Look, making these is a labor of love—I hand-pour every batch to get that texture just right. They look so real that I have actually had kids try to take a bite, but they are purely for show. When you give these, you are not gifting more sugar that people will just pass on; you are giving a sustainable, soot-free centerpiece that actually lasts.

Why Mithai Candles?

Traditional sweets vanish in a few hours, but these stay. I use 100% natural soy wax, which means they burn clean and do not produce that black soot you get from cheaper paraffin alternatives. Every 'Laddoo' or 'Imarti' is scented with traditional notes like Saffron, Rose, or Cardamom to really set the mood.

The Workshop Process

I make these in small batches at my workshop in Sector 63, Gurugram. Because I handle everything from the mold to the final packaging, I ensure that the silver foil details are perfect and the wax texture mimics the real deal.

Gift-Ready Packaging

They come packed in rigid, green hardboard boxes that feel substantial and ready to gift, whether it is for Diwali, Rakhi, or a wedding favor. It is the kind of practical, thoughtful gift that shows you actually put effort in, rather than just grabbing a store-bought box on the way.
