About Behind the Scenes
Getting ready for your wedding isn't just about the final makeup application. Whether it is the initial skin prep or getting those dupattas pinned securely for dancing, I spend time ensuring you feel comfortable and ready before you step out. It is about creating a calm space where you can relax while we bring your look together.
More Than Just Makeup
My approach to 'behind the scenes' is simple: the hours we spend getting ready should be as joyful as the wedding itself. I believe the preparation phase is where we set the tone for your day.
The Importance of a Trial
This is why I always emphasize the bridal trial. It is not just a test run for colors and products; it is a session where we get to know your skin's needs and your personal style. We test how the makeup sits, chat about your preferred hair volume, and figure out how to drape your saree or lehenga so it stays perfect through every ritual and photo.
My Process on Your Big Day
When I arrive at your venue in Mumbai, Pune, or elsewhere, my focus is twofold:
- Skin Prep & Comfort: I use premium brands like MAC, Nars, and Huda Beauty, but only after proper cleansing and moisturizing. My goal is to ensure your skin feels hydrated and breathable, not heavy or cakey.
- Logistics & Security: From securing dupattas with industrial-strength safety pins so you can move freely to setting your jewelry in place, I handle the technical details so you do not have to worry about a thing.
Whether you are wearing a heavy Nauvari saree or a delicate white wedding gown, my process is designed to keep you feeling like yourself. I travel to your home or hotel with my team, and we take care of the hair, draping, and styling, leaving you free to enjoy the quiet moments before the chaos begins.
