When planning your cocktail or Sangeet look, lighting is the first thing we consider. Evening functions often involve harsh club lighting or camera flashes, so I prioritize stronger contouring and high-impact shimmer pigments to keep your features defined rather than washed out. We ensure your base is sweat-resistant, so you can focus on the dance floor instead of checking the mirror.
Your Sangeet and cocktail makeup needs to be two things: durable and photogenic. Because these events are usually held at night, I use high-performance, long-wear bases that survive humidity and movement. We shift the focus to more dramatic eye looks, utilizing premium palettes from brands like Huda Beauty and Natasha Denona to create cut-creases or smoky effects that pop under party lights.
For hair, we often go for Hollywood waves, sleek ponytails, or intricate buns that stay secure while you dance. My senior hair stylist handles the heavy lifting, including setting extensions and placing hair accessories properly so they do not slip. I also incorporate premium false lashes, such as Onmo or Meow Cosmetics, to give your eyes that extra definition needed for those late-night portraits.
My approach is to ensure you feel like a Shehzaadi without the makeup feeling like a heavy mask. We spend 2.5 to 3 hours together, and I make sure to stay through your initial portrait session to fix any last-minute details. Whether you are wearing a gown or a lehenga, we match the makeup intensity to your outfit, keeping the finish clean, glowing, and totally you. I travel across Delhi NCR for these events, so you can get ready in the comfort of your own venue.
