For your reception, I focus on a transition from your wedding ceremony, usually moving towards a 'soft glam' or 'glass skin' finish that catches the light beautifully in evening photos. We reserve 2.5 to 3 hours to coordinate your hair and makeup, ensuring that whether you choose Hollywood waves or a sleek updo, the style stays fresh and comfortable all night long.
The reception is your moment to relax and debut a new look. Many of my brides prefer a departure from their traditional wedding ceremony, opting for something a bit more modern or chic. We prioritize high-quality base products like Embryolisse for skin prep to keep your face hydrated and glowing through the evening, and we finish with setting products that last through dancing and mingling.
I tailor every reception look to the event's specific vibe. If you are wearing a gown, we might lean into a 'glass skin' finish with shimmery, glittery eyes. For a traditional saree or lehenga, we can keep the look elegant with soft, rosy tones.
Since the reception involves movement, hair longevity is non-negotiable. I work with a senior hairstylist to ensure your Hollywood waves or messy buns are set with the right technique, not just volume. We also handle the draping of your outfit, using industrial-strength pins to keep heavy dupattas in place so you can enjoy your evening without worrying about your look slipping.
