When I work on a transformation, I focus on the skin prep first. Using hyaluronic acid-based hydration ensures your makeup stays dewy and comfortable, whether you are in the middle of a long Muhurtham or a late-night reception party. This step is what prevents the makeup from caking, no matter how long the event lasts.
Real skin is always the priority. For my brides, I often work with high-performance brands like MAC and Smashbox to ensure your look survives the stage lights and cameras without looking heavy. I see a lot of transformations where the hair padding and floral setting make the biggest difference, especially with traditional South Indian looks using fresh jasmine or roses.
My approach changes depending on the client because everyone has different needs. For a mom, I focus on hydrating mature skin to minimize fine lines and prevent caking, while for a bridesmaid, we might go for more glam with bold eye art or glitter. I am happy to travel to your venue anywhere in India, so do not worry if you are planning a destination wedding.
