About Editorial & Event Makeup
Unlike daily makeup, editorial looks have to stand up to harsh studio lighting and camera flashes. I focus on techniques that keep your skin looking like skin—breathable and radiant—while ensuring the base stays put for hours, whether you are on a red carpet or in front of a camera lens.
My process begins by identifying your specific needs, whether it is for a high-profile photoshoot or an evening event like an awards show. I use high-definition, lightweight products that are designed to look natural in person but flawless on camera. For evening events, I often incorporate subtle contouring and individual lash clusters to add definition that does not feel heavy or artificial. If the event is outdoors or during a hot summer day, I prioritize sweat-resistant techniques and long-wear formulas so you do not have to worry about your makeup while you enjoy the spotlight. I also pay close attention to your outfit and the event's theme, adjusting tones—like using a touch of mauve or terracotta—to harmonize with your attire. My goal is always to provide a finish that gives you confidence, ensuring you feel like the best version of yourself, not a different person.
