Direct sunlight is unforgiving, which is why I never use heavy, cakey foundations for Haldi or Mehendi. Instead, I prioritize breathable, sheer-coverage bases like NARS Sheer Glow that look natural in bright light while letting your skin breathe. I apply a deep-hydration skin prep before we even start, ensuring your makeup stays put and retains that 'glass skin' finish even after hours of dancing or getting messy with turmeric.
Your Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies are all about movement, laughter, and candid moments. Because these events usually happen outdoors or in bright daylight, the technique needs to shift from a 'full glam' event look to something that feels fresh and transparent.

Whether it’s a long Mehendi session or a messy Haldi, I use waterproof eye makeup and sweat-resistant sprays that are invisible to the naked eye but hold everything in place. You shouldn’t have to worry about your lipstick fading or your base sliding off while you’re enjoying your celebration.
