For evening receptions, lighting is everything. My base work ensures your makeup stays camera-ready and completely sweat-proof under heavy spotlights, without looking heavy or cakey. Whether you are in a red lehenga or a silk saree, we will coordinate your look so your foundation, highlighter, and lip colour pop in your photographs, not just in person.
The reception is when you can finally let your hair down and have fun, so your makeup needs to reflect that energy. While I love the traditional, subtle vibe of a morning muhurtham, the reception allows us to play with more drama.
I focus on a 'flash-friendly' base. We use high-intensity strobe highlighting to give you that glass-skin finish that looks great under reception stage lights. If you want smoky eyes, a cut-crease, or a bolder lip, we can do it. My goal is to make sure you still look like you, just with an amped-up, glamorous twist.
Hair is just as important. Whether you want Hollywood waves, a textured bun adorned with flowers, or a sleek ponytail, I use heavy-duty setting sprays to ensure it survives the dance floor. If you are wearing a heavy lehenga with a double dupatta or a complex silk saree, I handle the draping and secure everything with industrial-grade pinning so you can move freely without worrying about a slipping pallu or dupatta.
I also coordinate with your accessories. If you have specific diamond jewellery or temple sets, we adjust the eye makeup tones to complement the gold or stone work. It is all about cohesion. By the time you head out to meet your guests, you will feel confident, comfortable, and ready to enjoy every moment of your big day.
