When I work with mothers and aunts, my main focus is texture rather than just color. I use specific hydration-focused cream products rather than heavy powders, which prevents that cakey finish that usually settles into fine lines. This ensures your makeup stays fresh and glowing from the early morning ceremony right through to the late-night reception.
Getting ready as a family shouldn't feel like a factory line. Everyone has different skin types and comfort levels, so I never apply the same party makeup template to every person. My approach is to ensure everyone feels polished and confident, not like they are wearing a mask.
