About Behind The Scenes & Transformations
You will notice in these clips that I do not use ring lights or heavy filters to hide skin texture. Whether we are prepping in a dimly lit hotel room or a busy venue washroom, my focus remains on techniques that survive the chaos, such as proper skin hydration and spot-concealing that stays put. I want you to see exactly how your makeup will look in real life, not just under studio lighting.
My Approach to Real Skin
I treat every transformation as an opportunity to highlight your features rather than mask them. You won't find heavily caked bases in my chair. My process involves:
- Prep-First Philosophy: I spend significant time on skin prep using products like Embryolisse or Charlotte Tilbury. This is the secret to a base that doesn't crack, whether it's a scorching summer day in Delhi or a humid wedding night.
- Adaptable Techniques: Depending on your event, I switch between HD and Airbrush application. Airbrush is my go-to for a lightweight, sweat-proof finish, while HD is perfect for precision coverage on long, event-filled days.
- Addressing Your Real Concerns: I specialize in techniques for mature skin, ensuring mothers and aunts feel elegant without fine lines being accentuated. For the bride, I focus on 'glass skin' that looks just as good in daylight as it does in flash photography.
The Reality of Event Day
Wedding days are chaotic. I have learned to work in less-than-ideal spaces, from hotel rooms to venue washrooms. That is why my kit is mobile and organized. I don't need a studio setup to create a polished look. You get the same level of care and product quality whether we are in a luxury hotel suite or a home setting. My goal is for you to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin, right until the last photo is taken.
