Authentic Maharashtrian Bridal Makeup in Bengaluru
Getting the Maharashtrian bridal look right is all about the details. From the crescent bindi to the Nath and the Navari drape, I make sure everything stays secure so you can be present for every ritual.

This is a look I created for the 'Varapuja' ceremony. The makeup is elegant and understated, with a classic red lip, complementing her deep blue silk saree perfectly.

About this collection
The secret to a great Maharashtrian look is balancing heavy traditional jewelry with makeup that does not feel heavy on your skin. I use sweat-resistant, long-wear bases that hold up during the heat of your wedding rituals while keeping your skin looking natural. I also make sure your Nath and Mundavalya are secured properly so they stay in place, letting you move, pray, and smile without a second thought.
My Approach to Maharashtrian Bridal Looks
When I work with Maharashtrian brides, I know the look needs to be classic, traditional, and incredibly durable. You are usually navigating sit-and-stand rituals, heavy temple jewelry, and sometimes a nine-yard Navari saree, all while the camera is on you.
My goal is to support that look, not overpower it. We start with a full skin prep—cleansing, toning, and moisturizing—to ensure the makeup sits well. For the base, I focus on a sweat-resistant, HD finish using brands like MAC and NARS. This ensures that even during long, warm ceremonies, your foundation stays fresh.
Focusing on the Details
- The Crescent Bindi & Nath: These are the signatures of your look. I apply them with precision to ensure they frame your face correctly without causing discomfort.
- Eye Artistry: Depending on your outfit, we can go for classic defined eyes with gel liners or something softer that complements the rich colours of a Paithani or Kanjeevaram saree.
- Jewellery & Draping: I do not just do your face; I help with the finishing touches. If you need help with the secure pinning of your jewellery or getting that Navari drape just right, I am there to assist.
Real Talk
I prefer looks that allow your personality to shine. If you want a face full of heavy, unnatural layers that change your features, I am probably not the right artist for you. I focus on bringing out your natural features so that when you look at your photos years later, you still see yourself.
Padma Venkatesh
I’m Padma. I love creating authentic Maharashtrian looks because there is something so powerful about the tradition. That bold crescent bindi and the nose ring completely change your presence, and my job is to make sure you feel like the most confident version of yourself.
