About Beyond the Wedding Day
My approach changes based on the occasion. For a baby shower (Seemantham) or naming ceremony, I avoid the heavy layering we do for the wedding day. Instead, I focus on a radiant, skin-focused look that lets your natural glow shine through. I still use my signature sweatproof base because I know these events involve hours of rituals and hosting, and you deserve to look as fresh at the end as you did at the start.
Transitioning from a bridal look to an everyday party or milestone look is all about comfort and balance. When I do makeup for your Seemantham or family gathering, I keep it light. You do not need to sit in the chair for hours like you did for your Muhurtham.
Why my approach remains the same
Even though the makeup is lighter, I never compromise on quality. I use the same waterproof and sweat-resistant techniques that I developed for my brides. If you are participating in a long Pooja or hosting many guests, the last thing you want is for your makeup to smudge.
Preparing for your event
- Skin Prep: Even for smaller functions, I spend time prepping your skin. Hydration is key. If your skin is happy, the makeup sits beautifully.
- Versatility: I can do a soft, glowing look for a naming ceremony or something more defined for a reception guest appearance. Just let me know the vibe of your outfit and the time of day.
- Group Booking: Many clients ask me to do makeup for their sisters, mothers, or friends at the same time. I am happy to handle the whole family so you can all get ready together without the stress of managing multiple artists.
