My Process & Pro Tips
Makeup isn't just about the final look. Here is a peek into how I work, my studio process, and some simple hacks to help you feel confident in the chair.
This is the reality of being a dedicated makeup artist. For early morning bridal bookings, I often sleep at the studio to ensure I am fresh, prepared, and on time. Your special day is my commitment.
Confused between compact and loose powder? In this video, I explain the difference and when to use each one. My goal is to empower you with knowledge so you can feel confident about your makeup.
Many clients are nervous about wearing contact lenses for the first time. As part of my service, I help with lens application, ensuring it's done safely and comfortably so you can get the exact eye look you want.
About My Process & Pro Tips
Getting ready should never feel like a guessing game. Before any brush touches your face, we sit down to figure out what actually works for your skin type and your specific occasion, rather than just following a trend. If a look won't hold up for the weather or your skin needs, I will tell you straight so you are not disappointed later.
Behind the Chair: My Approach
I treat every booking like a story. Whether you are coming from West Delhi or traveling from Mumbai for a makeover at my Lajpat Nagar studio, the process remains the same. I start by listening. If you ask me, "kaisa karna hai?", I will ask you about your routine and comfort level first. My goal is to make sure you look like the best version of yourself, not a masked version.
Quick Beauty Tips
I often get asked the same questions, so I have started documenting my process to help you learn along the way:
- Powder 101: Confused about compact versus loose powder? I use compact for quick touch-ups and an oil-free finish when you are in a rush. Loose powder is my go-to for professional, long-lasting makeup because it allows for baking, which keeps your look set for hours.
- Lens Application: Many clients are nervous about wearing lenses for the first time. I always help with the application process right here in the studio to ensure it is done safely and comfortably.
Dedication to the Craft
Being a makeup artist is not just about the hours spent on a client. It is about the early morning wake-up calls and the nights spent at the studio to ensure I am fresh and prepared for your booking. I take your big day as seriously as you do, which is why I often sleep at the studio for those 3 AM bridal starts. My kit is stocked with everything from HD airbrush tools to specialized skin prep products because I refuse to compromise on quality.
