About International Hairstyling

The biggest struggle with heavy bridal accessories like the Surya Chandra or side maati isn't just the weight, but the damage they cause to the hair when clipped improperly. Instead of forcing them into the hair, I teach my students the exact technique of securing these accessories directly into the floral base using U-pins. It keeps the style intact and weightless for hours, which is the real secret to keeping a bride comfortable through her entire ceremony.

Mastering Bridal Hair Artistry

Hairstyling is where many makeup artists feel stuck, especially when dealing with heavy temple jewelry or intricate flower arrangements. In my academy, we move beyond basic pinning and focus on structural integrity. You will learn how to handle different hair volumes, textures, and lengths to create styles that stay put from the Muhurtham to the reception.

What You Will Learn

  • Secure Accessory Fixation: My signature hacks for fixing heavy South Indian accessories (Surya Chandra, Maati) so they never pull on the hair.
  • Traditional Braids (Poola Jada): Learn the art of the perfect braid, including adding extensions, ribbons, and fresh flower arrangements to match any saree.
  • International Updos: I break down complex western-style updos and buns into simple steps, teaching you how to use volume sponges and sprays effectively.
  • Floral Art: Beyond just placement, I teach you how to treat fresh flowers so they look vibrant and stay fresh throughout the event.

Why This Course is Different

I believe in hands-on practice, not just watching demos. Whether you are a beginner picking up a hairspray bottle for the first time or a pro artist looking to fix patchy styling, you will get the opportunity to practice on models. We provide everything you need during the session—you just bring your passion. By the end of this module, you won't just know the theory of hairstyles; you will have a portfolio of work that proves your skills.
