Every product on our shelves is carefully chosen. We exclusively use vegan formulas that come in recycled and recyclable packaging, because conscious beauty is the only kind of beauty I believe in.
Sustainability is in the details. These tables weren't bought, they were born from old doors left in the bungalow before we moved in. We believe in upcycling and giving materials a second life.
Even our cooling is conscious. The AC units in the salon are refurbished models that consume 30% less electricity, reducing our carbon footprint one detail at a time.
Nothing goes to waste here. We collect the water from our AC units and reuse it to nourish the plants in our garden, keeping our little green oasis thriving.
We don't just guess at being green. We work closely with a professional sustainability firm to guide every decision we make, ensuring we are taking real, impactful steps toward a greener future.

About Our Green Heart: The Sustainable Salon
When you walk in, the first thing we do is pour you a cup of tea. We spend 15 to 20 minutes talking about your life, your history with your hair, and what you are actually looking for. It is a space designed to help you decompress, because a transformation happens best when you are relaxed and feel like you are at home.
I spent five years living in mud domes in Kamshet, learning what real sustainability looks like. When I decided to bring Mad O Wot back to Mumbai, I refused to rent a standard commercial shop. I found this bungalow in Khar, and we turned it into a living, breathing garden.
Every choice we made here serves the planet. Our AC units are refurbished to consume less electricity, and we collect the water they produce to nourish our garden plants. The furniture was not bought from a catalog; we took old doors left behind in the bungalow and built them into our workstations.
We exclusively use vegan products because conscious beauty is the only kind I believe in. When you book a session with us, you are not just getting a cut or color. You are stepping into a space that respects the environment. We do not rush. We do not use heat tools unnecessarily. We collaborate with you to find a style that fits your life.
