About The Curl Story
Let’s be real, curls can be a lot. When you sit in our chair, we don't just chop away; we analyze your specific curl pattern, porosity, and health. We don't believe in using heat to force a shape you don't actually have. Instead, we use techniques like finger coiling and diffuser drying to define your natural texture, meaning you leave our studio in Khar with hair that’s actually manageable, not just styled for a photo.
The CGM Philosophy
We live by the Curly Girl Method (CGM). That means no sulfates, no silicones, and definitely no heat straightening to 'fix' your hair. We respect your hair's natural journey and use our extended 90–120 minute sessions to cleanse, hydrate, and cut in a way that respects your bounce.
Why Finger Coiling?
It’s our secret sauce for definition without the frizz. Whether your hair is 2A or 4C, we use finger coiling to group your curls exactly how they want to sit. It takes patience and precision, but the result is hydrated, bouncy hair that actually lasts. We finish with a slow diffuser session to lock everything in.
What To Expect
Bring your vibe, bring a mood board, or just bring yourself. We’re fully pet-friendly, so you might even have a furry buddy chilling while we work. If you’re coming in for a transformation, know that our cut isn't a 'one size fits all.' We do dry-cutting or low-tension wet cuts to ensure you don't have any shrinkage surprises once it dries. Whether you want a modern curly shag, a sharp bob, or just a trim to bring the life back, we've got you.
