About Natural Light Maternity Portraits
We schedule these sessions during the golden hour, typically the first or last two hours of daylight, to capture that soft, natural glow. Since we shoot at various public parks and gardens throughout Bengaluru, we always encourage choosing a location where you feel completely at ease, as comfort is the secret to getting those genuine, honest expressions on camera.
Our approach to maternity photography is simple: keep it real. We avoid rigid posing and heavy studio backdrops in favor of natural outdoor settings. Whether it is a quiet garden in Indiranagar or a scenic park in HSR Layout, we look for spaces that allow you to interact naturally with your partner.
How we work
- Golden Hour: We aim for sunrise or sunset. The light is softest during these times, which is why your photos will have that warm, dreamy quality without harsh shadows.
- Authentic Moments: We do not ask you to hold stiff poses for minutes. We guide you into movements, like walking or laughing together, while we document the natural connection between you both.
- Wardrobe Advice: Wear something that makes you feel like yourself. We recommend solid, neutral colors that complement the outdoor greenery rather than compete with it.
- Comfort is Key: If you have a specific location in mind that holds a special meaning, tell us. We are happy to travel across the city to shoot where you feel most comfortable.
This season is fleeting, and our goal is to capture the anticipation and the quiet strength of this time. We work with a lead photographer and a light assistant to ensure we capture the details without needing to direct every single move.
