Maternity Photoshoots with Family

Kids are rarely fans of sitting perfectly still, and that is exactly why I love these shoots. Whether it is a big brother playing doctor with a toy stethoscope or a sister gently patting your bump, I work around their natural energy rather than forcing stiff, uncomfortable poses.

When we include the whole family, the dynamic of a maternity shoot changes completely. It becomes less about perfectly poised portraits and more about the real, messy, and beautiful transition you are all going through. We often head to spots like Central Park or Jewel of Navi Mumbai during the golden hour because the lighting is forgiving, and the open space gives kids room to roam without feeling restricted by a studio. If you have an elder child, we can incorporate props like a small chalkboard or a toy stethoscope, but I also leave space for them to just be themselves. They might run around, they might be shy, or they might be incredibly eager to meet the new baby. I capture whatever comes up.

For the session, we can include up to three outfit changes, which gives us plenty of breathing room to manage outfits for everyone. I have worked with many families across Navi Mumbai, and I always tell parents not to worry if the kids are having an off day. My job is to move with the flow of the session, ensuring that even when things get lively, we end up with memories that feel authentic to your family story.
