These milestones, like the Annaprasan, move quickly. My goal is not to stage every ritual but to stay in the background, waiting for that genuine expression when your baby tastes their first solid food or a grandparent shares a blessing. I focus on the emotions surrounding these traditions, making sure we capture the warmth of your family gathered together without turning your ceremony into a photoshoot.
Cultural ceremonies are about more than just the ritual. They are about the legacy being passed down from one generation to the next. Whether it is an Annaprasan, a first rice-feeding ceremony, or a traditional naming event, I pay close attention to the details that matter: the vibrant marigold decorations, the traditional silk attire, and the quiet glances between family members.
I work with natural light whenever possible to keep the mood soft and authentic. We can plan a short portrait session before or after the main event to get photos of your baby in their traditional finery, but the core of my service is being a silent observer during the ceremony. My approach in Navi Mumbai is to blend in with your family, ensuring I document the joy and connection without disrupting the flow of your rituals.
If your baby gets fussy or tired, we take a break. It is a natural part of these events, and I am happy to work around your baby's schedule. My goal is to capture your family's heritage as it happens, creating a beautiful record of your history that you will look back on for years.
