Home Veterinary Consultation
Assessment Scope
- Physical Check: Full body palpation for pain, lumps, or swelling including visual inspection of eyes, ears, and oral hygiene.
- Vitals: Recording of rectal temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and hydration levels.
- Diagnosis: Identification of common issues like skin infections, gastrointestinal upsets, or lethargy.
- Prescription: Written prescription for antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, or supplements if required.
Logistics
- Travel: Includes vet travel costs to the location.
- Handling: Basic restraint in the pet's home environment.
Exclusions
- Consumables: Tablets, syrups, injections, and ointments are charged extra.
- Labs & Procedures: Blood work, wound dressing, or vaccinations are separate costs.
At-Home IV Fluid Therapy
Setup & Procedure
- Cannulation: Shaving the leg patch, sterile site preparation, and IV catheter insertion.
- Drip Management: Connecting the IV line and setting flow rates based on weight and condition.
Monitoring
- Supervision: Professional presence to monitor flow rate and prevent line breakage.
- Safety Checks: Periodic monitoring of pulse and gum color during administration.
Fluids & Materials
- Types: Administration of standard crystalloids (Normal Saline, Ringer's Lactate) or Glucose.
- Billing: Service fee covers monitoring only; fluid bottles and IV sets are charged at MRP.
- Injections: Administration of prescribed IV additives (anti-vomiting or vitamins) through the port.

What Happens During a Visit
- I start with a full checkup to figure out what’s actually wrong.
- If your pet needs it, I’ll do fluid therapy right there - helpful for weak or dehydrated furballs.
- You’ll get a clear treatment plan, but any medicine is extra (I’ll explain why if you want).
- Ask me anything about food or daily care while I’m there. I’m happy to share tips that actually work.
Dogs, Cats, and Breed Know-How
I treat both dogs and cats, and since I’m a pet parent too, I know each breed comes with its own quirks. From Labs with joint issues to picky-eater Indies, I’ve seen it all and adjust my approach for each one.

I cover most of Bangalore: Hebbal, Koramangala, Indiranagar, Whitefield, Malleswaram, and a bunch of others. If you’re close, I’ll make it work.
