About The Paglus Behind The Jam
It all started when 25 of us crammed into a living room for a jam session that lasted six hours. That one night showed us that people don't want a concert, they want a 'mehfil'—a place where they can be the star. We are the team that builds the platform, but you are the ones who bring the energy.
We are Sparsh, Abhishek, Karishma, and Goutam. We didn't set out to start a company; we just wanted to find a place in Bengaluru where we could belt out 90s Bollywood hits without being judged.
How We Got Here
It began in December 2022 when Sparsh moved to the city and hosted a jam at his place. When 25 strangers showed up, sang for six hours, and left as friends, we knew we had something special. Since then, we have evolved from living rooms to some of the city's best pubs, but the vibe remains the same—no stage, no audience-performer divide, just a circle of people singing their hearts out.
Why We Do It
We believe the real magic of Bollywood music is in the community. Whether it is an acoustic Sufi night or a high-energy retro sing-along, we are just the background score. The newspaper features and the 'Ghibli-style' team portraits you see here are just a fun way to document this journey.
