About Our Band of Kalakars
We don't play pre-recorded tracks; we build the soundscape live. From the soulful weep of a flute in a Sufi track to the unexpected twang of a banjo on a 90s hit, our 4-5 member band adapts the musical arrangement on the fly to match the crowd's pulse.
At Let's Jam, our band isn't just background noise; we are the catalyst for the mehfil. Whether we are setting up for a corporate event in Bengaluru or a private house party in Mumbai, our goal is to eliminate the divide between the performer and the audience.
The Kalakar Setup
Our core team consists of 4-5 musicians who are comfortable switching between instruments. You might hear a classic Bollywood melody on the keyboard, followed by a live banjo riff or the organic, earthy sound of a flute. We bring:
- Percussion: Shakers, ghungroos, and live drums to keep the rhythm tight.
- Melody: Guitars, banjos, and keyboards that handle everything from retro 90s hits to modern Arijit Singh chartbusters.
- Atmosphere: A dedicated flute player who handles the Sufi and qawwali numbers with the authentic soul they deserve.
