I always suggest that parents choose an outdoor location they actually visit with their child. Whether it is a park near your home or a garden you love, shooting in a familiar space helps your little one feel comfortable and keeps the giggles coming naturally, rather than feeling like a chore.
Outdoor shoots are all about capturing that raw, untamed energy. Unlike a studio session where we control every light, here we work with the sun, the wind, and the unpredictable, joyous nature of your child.
Why go outdoors?
It is not just about the background—it is about the freedom. Kids are wired to move, climb, and explore. When we meet at a local park or even your own backyard in Delhi NCR, your child does not feel like they are on a set. They are just playing. We bring the props—vintage baskets, thematic setups like our mechanic or little traveler kits—to add structure, but the magic happens when they wander off to chase a butterfly or climb a small tree.
Practical tips for a smooth shoot
- Timing is everything: We usually schedule these during the golden hour—early morning or late afternoon—when the light is soft and flattering, and the temperature is comfortable for the baby.
- Location scouting: If you have a favorite spot in mind, let me know. We cover most areas across Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon. If you are unsure, I have a list of go-to parks with great light and privacy.
- Flexibility: We always pack extra water, snacks, and wipes. Being outdoors means being prepared for anything, so we keep the mood light and follow your child's lead.
